We've been messaged as to whether the recent lack of activity here was because Shinda Ningyo is dead. Well, partially maybe, (ha ha!) but it can still be revived.
Truth be known we have some new and various things in mind, from merely an idea to almost completed. We keep tabs on each one's ideas to make some sort of a new look for the business because as we all know, copy-cats are everywhere and we can't prevent that. So no, we don't have any problem in terms of new ideas. And Shinda Ningyo will always retain it's identity; you'll know it's Shinda if you adopted at least one Shinda doll.
We think our problem is time. We have day jobs. And we have lives outside our jobs (or so we thought, haha!). We even forgot to celebrate Shinda's anniversary last May. We meet very seldom to talk and develop the ideas we have for Shinda. There is a lot more, but at least you get the idea.
So to all those who follow Shinda for updates on new dolls, thank you for your patience. The coming months also promise to be difficult, but we guarantee you this will pass, too and that we will get back on track.
Greetings
Shinda Ningyo is not about nostalgia. These hand-stitched dolls are carefully and wonderfully made just so it would appeal to the kind-hearted people who adopts them. Even if times get unbearable, these dolls would surely release your tension because if you look at them, they too, have a story to tell.
The makers of Shinda Ningyo poured out their hearts to the dolls while creating them. In all honesty, they are expecting that the person who would like to adopt one of them would also love the doll and take good care of it.

**When people understand the connection between their choices and the lives of others, especially in regions already impacted by climate change, it is my deep hope that they will care about it, thus re-orient our priorities.
